Collection of Personal Information

We may collect your name, address, email address, domain name, client IP address, phone number, and other personally identifiable information about you (“personal information”) and the products or services you purchase or obtain from us. This information is collected, in general, from information you provide to us through DBA Online when you complete a product registration or initial setup wizard, through your survey responses or rebate forms, and/or through your filling out and submitting forms through DBA Online requesting information from DBA. We may also receive information about you and your purchases from the service provider assisting with our online store. With your consent, we may also collect your precise geographic location information via DBA Online.

Automatically Collected Information

DBA Online is engineered to collect statistical information about those using it. This allows us to maintain a welcoming and accessible site. For this purpose, we may track your movement within the site, the pages from which you were referred, access times and browser types. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally. To gauge the effectiveness of our site, we do collect some generic information about our visitors. Our web servers recognize and automatically log a visitor’s domain name, the web page from which a visitor enters our site, which pages a visitor visits on our site, how much time a visitor spends on each page, and the visitor’s IP address. We may use anonymous tracking technologies to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes, and to improve the services we provide, including using it to evaluate and improve our site. We also collect and store information automatically using cookies and similar technology as described below.

Access to Your Information and Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving marketing information from us by unsubscribing using the link on any email you receive from us. If you opt out of receiving our marketing information, we may still send you certain types of communications, such as product updates for your registered products, transactional or legal notification emails, warranty related communications and we may respond to requests from you by email. We will try to process your opt-out request within ten business days.

Although via DBA Online we may collect personal information about your online activities using DBA Online over time, we do not collect such information from you about your activities on third-party websites. We do not respond to “do not track” signals, if any, being sent from your browser. Furthermore, we permit select third parties to collect non-personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use DBA Online. If you would like to opt-out of any of the technologies that we and/or our third parties employ to collect your information via DBA Online (e.g. cookies), you may do so by blocking, deleting, or disabling them as your browser or device permits. Please refer to your browser Help instructions to learn more about your browser settings and how to handle cookies.

For more information on third-party advertising-related cookies and how to exercise your choice to opt-out of them, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices and/or www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

If you wish us to cancel, and/or stop the processing of your personal information we will, subject to our discretion, cancel and/or stop the processing of the personal information. We will not delete information that we are required to retain for our business operations or legal compliance. We may require that you provide adequate identification information or documentation before providing you the information about you that we hold; this is for your protection. We will respond to your requests within 20 days of receipt and authentication.

Please note that you may be charged a fee, if permitted under applicable law, of around US$20.00 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
